The Scottish Rite Valley of St. Joseph is honored to host the 33° Coronation of Inspectors General Honorary for the Orient of Missouri on Saturday, November 8th, 2025.
The weekend will begin on Friday, November 7th, 2025, starting at 2:00pm for check-in at the St. Joseph Scottish Rite. A practice for the Degree will be at 4:00 PM at the Valley. A reception will be held at the Scottish Rite Friday evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. It is customary for the Valleys to hold a private dinner for their members and honorees on Friday evening and you may depart at any time from the Rite. A schedule and information regarding hotels in the area, Ladies event, directions and registration are included for the remainder of the weekend.
In order that we may make proper and necessary arrangements for your stay, please return a completed Registration Form with the proper remittance to the St. Joseph Scottish Rite Cathedral (address in header) or preferably use the online Simpletix order form ( https://www.simpletix.com/e/33rd-coronation-tickets-235818) no later than October 30th, 2025. You are responsible for hotel arrangements.

The 33rd Degree Coronation Weekend will be held at the St. Joseph Scottish Rite Cathedral.
Our schedule for the coronation is as follows:
Friday, November 7 – 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM – Registration
4:00 PM- 33rd Degree Ritual Rehearsal St. Joseph Cathedral
5:00 PM to 7:00 PM- Welcome Reception, St. Joseph Cathedral
7:00 PM- Jurisdictional Dinners Scottish Rite Valleys
Saturday November 8 – 08:00 AM to 1:00 PM – Registration
8:00 AM to 9:15 AM- Continental Breakfast, St. Joseph Cathedral
9:00 AM to 11:30 AM– Ladies Arts & Crafts – St Joseph Cathedral – Lunch is included in cost
10:00 AM to 11:30 AM – Scottish Rite Foundation meeting – St. Joseph Cathedral
11:30 AM – Luncheon -St. Joseph Cathedral -Included in Ladies costs – $15.00 for non-board members
1:30 PM – 33rd Degree Coronation St. Joseph Cathedral
4:00 PM – Coronation Reception St. Joseph Cathedral with Cash Bar
5:00 PM – Coronation Banquet St. Joseph Cathedral

In that our plan is to have the events of the 33rd Degree Coronation at the St. Joseph Scottish Rite Cathedral, those attending will have the opportunity to choose their hotel.

Jurisdictional Dinners
Please contact your local Valley Leadership regarding plans for your Valley’s Jurisdictional Dinner on Friday, November 7th.
Ladies Program, Saturday, November 8th
The Ladies Program will be at the Valley and includes lunch. It will be a fun filled arts and crafts morning that we believe the Ladies will appreciate.
Coronation Banquet and Reception
The coronation banquet will include dinner music as well as special presentations in honor of our newly coroneted 33rd Degree, Inspectors General Honorary, Scottish Rite Masons. There will be a cash bar available for the reception and the banquet. Meal choice is Hand Carved Prime Rib or Chicken Cordon Bleu with salad, baked potato bar and dessert.
33rd Degree Class Photo & Coronation Gift
All newly coroneted 33rds will receive a framed class photo. In addition Brethren registered for the coronation will receive a gift package embroidered with the Scottish Rite Logo.
Scottish Rite Foundation of Missouri – Board Meeting
The Scottish Rite Foundation of Missouri will be holding its Fall Board Meeting on Saturday, November 8th beginning at 10:00am. All Scottish Rite brethren and guests are welcome to attend. Saturday’s Lunch will be provided by the Scottish Rite Foundation for Board Members and all are welcome for lunch as well. Cost is $15.00 for Non-Board Members and Ladies not attending the Ladies program.

The Scottish Rite Cathedral in St. Joseph is located at 515 N 6th Street, St Joseph, MO 64501. The parking lot for the Cathedral is beside the building on the north side.
